And there goes March!! Yet another month down in this
program.
I consider the month of
March a thing of the past, I was glad to have experienced it and I’m even glad
that it’s over. For me, the month of March consisted of my second dose of the
Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, 1 medical pharmacology exam on Psychopharm, 1 principles
of pharmacology exam also on Psychopharm, 2 presentations: one on stress &
immunity and the other on “Fremanezumab for the Preventive Treatment of Chronic
Migraine” - a mouthful yes, I know; just imagine how I felt this entire month.
Not to mention that we also had an exam in cellular control mechanism on ion
channels, membrane transporters, etc. all while studying for the NBME (National
Board of Medical Examiners) which serves as our cumulative final exam for our
med pharm course. On tomorrow (April 1st) my classmates and I will take this
examine, I have more than enough faith that all of us will pass this stressor
of a test. Needless to say, I am an overcomer & have overcame every hurdle
and obstacle in my path thus far and will continue to do so!! Graduation is on
the horizon we have 47 days until graduation, and we will be a part of the
elite 10% of the US with master’s degrees. Getting one degree hotter!
This month I chose to spend
my Sundays volunteering at the food bank & my local church preparing for
our annual Easter egg hunt. This month at the food bank, we helped
sort and categorize all of the non-perishable food items. Together we checked
the dates on food and for anything that was not expired, we placed the item in
its respective group. I considered this to be great exercise from all of the
lifting and walking in, out, and around the warehouse.
Until next month!
